Tee BallYouth BallTee Ball is the first level of organized baseball/softball for youth. Coaches will work with the children on the basic fundamentals. We use small bats, incrediballs, and hit off a tee. Games are modified to the age level. Children must be four years old by September 1, 2025 and have not attended kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year. Tee Ball does not play against other communities. Traveling BasketballBasketballMontevideo traveling basketball is run under the direction of the Montevideo basketball programs. The boys and girls Varsity coaches provide direction to volunteer coaches on skills development, drills, and ThunderHawk basketball philosophy. Volunteer coaches conduct all practice sessions based on guidelines from the Varsity coaches and make arrangements for additional tournament play. Volunteer coaches must be approved by the Varsity coaches. Additional costs (not included in this registration fee) may include jerseys, tournament fees and additional gym rental. Youth Competitive SwimAquaticsYouth Summer swim is a program for younger swimmers to learn about the world of competitive swimming. It is not a replacement for swim lessons, instead it is made for young athletes to prepare to swim at a higher level. It is a great opportunity to prepare for upcoming participation on our school’s high school swim teams or simply advance their general skills in the pool. The camp will focus on learning and improving the four basic strokes among other important swim skills. There is also the potential for them to participate in a swim meet at the end of the program held in cooperation with the Southwest Swim Club in Marshall, MN.
