NewTee BallYouth BallTee Ball is the first level of organized baseball/softball for youth. Coaches will work with the children on the basic fundamentals. We use small bats, incrediballs, and hit off a tee. Games are modified to the age level. Children must be four years old by September 1, 2025 and have not attended kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year. Tee Ball does not play against other communities. The Thunderhawk Varsity Tennis coaches and players provide an introduction to the game for younger players with lots of tennis-like games. The main focus is on FUN, but players will also develop hand-eye coordination, an understanding of the parts of the court, basic strokes, and scoring. Age-appropriate equipment is provided and students of all interest and ability level are welcome. Students can bring their own tennis racket, but there will be some available. No prior experience is needed, however, the intermediate/advanced class is recommended to have the ability to do cartwheels, bridges, and handstands prior to registration.
