Come learn about the world of plants through hands-on experiments with popcorn, soybeans, and microgreens! Explore thermodynamics while observing and experimenting with popcorn, learn about seed germination with a soybean living necklace activity, and create a microgreen jar garden to grow and enjoy microgreens! Minimum of 10 to hold the class.

We'll explore the fun and easy rubber band and spray bottle technique, transforming plain fabric into colorful masterpieces. Bring 1-2 pre-washed, 100% cotton white items to dye, and get ready to swirl, spray, and create your own wearable art. Get ready for a colorful and creative experience!

Welcome to this fun and hands-on class where young minds dive into the exciting world of Science! This class is designed to spark curiosity through interactive projects, games, and experiments. Each session will focus on a theme and students will conduct fun science experiments, and explore the basics of science through play. Our goal is to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in a lively and supportive environment, helping children become confident learners and future innovators!

Come share your creativity and brighten the sidewalks at the Montevideo Veterans Home! Participants will pair up with veterans to decorate the sidewalks with chalk and enjoy a fun intergenerational activity together. This is a relaxed come- and-go event, and all ages are welcome. Please check in at the front desk when you arrive and we will help match you with a Veteran to create art together. This is a FREE event, but registration is requested for our planning.

In this class we will be learning how Cotton Candy is made by heating and spinning flavored sugar and Jolly Ranchers. We will also be playing games for fun prizes like a CARNIVAL and EVERY child will go home with Cotton Candy and Lots of Prizes. Come and have some fun with your friends and enjoy the CARNIVAL.

STEM Exploding Paint Bomb Art invites students to explore the explosive reactions behind color and motion while designing vibrant works of art. Through safe, guided experiments, students will learn the basics of chemical reactions and pressure dynamics—all while launching paint bombs that create stunning abstract masterpieces. Perfect for curious minds who love to get messy and think outside the box, this course is a blast—literally!

In CANDY CORN CATAPULTS, students become "Siege Engineers" as they design, build, and calibrate their very own desktop launchers. The mission? To successfully navigate the physics of flight and land a "harvest" of candy corn into a series of bubbling cauldrons. It's a race against gravity and a test of architectural strength!

Youth will dive into a world of fun with exciting games, silly relays, and playful challenges—all designed to bring their cuddly companions along for the ride. Every child will win prizes throughout the party, making sure the fun never stops. And to make the day even more magical, Ms. B has prepared a very special gift for each participant to take home.
