NewMontevideo Diving CampAquaticsHave a fun time sticking, splashing, or smacking your way into the pool as you participate in this year’s Summer dive camp! This camp is a great opportunity for young athletes to become familiar with the sport of diving or for current divers to hone their skills before their next swim & dive season. These practices will follow immediately after our Montevideo Swim Club practices. Participants can expect to review many of the basic skills necessary to build a strong foundation for any diver while building up their strength and flexibility in the air and on the board. They will also be given advice and instruction that caters to their specific strengths and abilities. NewYouth Competitive SwimAquaticsYouth Summer swim is a program for younger swimmers to learn about the world of competitive swimming. It is not a replacement for swim lessons, instead it is made for young athletes to prepare to swim at a higher level. It is a great opportunity to prepare for upcoming participation on our school’s high school swim teams or simply advance their general skills in the pool. The camp will focus on learning and improving the four basic strokes among other important swim skills. There is also the potential for them to participate in a swim meet at the end of the program held in cooperation with the Southwest Swim Club in Marshall, MN.
