Boys and Girls ages 4-6 who have not attended Kindergarten are invited to try out a fun sport at the High School Tennis courts. We have special rackets, balls, and nets for young kids. We will teach you some fun games and you can learn about the sport of tennis! Introduce your kids to the FUNdamentals of tennis with our exciting camps! The Thunderhawk Varsity Tennis coaches and players provide an introduction to the game for younger players with lots of tennis-like games. The main focus is on FUN, but players will also develop hand-eye coordination, an understanding of the parts of the court, basic strokes, and scoring. Age-appropriate equipment is provided and students of all interest and ability level are welcome. Students can bring their own tennis racket, but there will be some available. Proceeds benefit the Thunderhawk Tennis Program.
