Summer TennisTennisTennis players going into grades 7-12 in the 25-26 school year of all abilities are welcome to join the Thunderhawk varsity coaches in a fun, competitive atmosphere. Our focus will range from practicing fundamental strokes and footwork to advanced techniques and tactics. Girls and boys will be grouped with others of similar age and ability levels in drills and games designed to help each player reach the next level of skill and strategy. We will also put together some matches with tennis programs from area communities as they are available. Bring your racket and join us for a chance to have some fun on the courts and grow as a player. Tee BallYouth BallTee Ball is the first level of organized baseball/softball for youth. Coaches will work with the children on the basic fundamentals. We use small bats, incrediballs, and hit off a tee. Games are modified to the age level. Children must be four years old by September 1, 2025 and have not attended kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year. Tee Ball does not play against other communities. Through weight training exercises, they will improve their muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility/mobility. Youth Competitive SwimAquaticsYouth Summer swim is a program for younger swimmers to learn about the world of competitive swimming. It is not a replacement for swim lessons, instead it is made for young athletes to prepare to swim at a higher level. It is a great opportunity to prepare for upcoming participation on our school’s high school swim teams or simply advance their general skills in the pool. The camp will focus on learning and improving the four basic strokes among other important swim skills. There is also the potential for them to participate in a swim meet at the end of the program held in cooperation with the Southwest Swim Club in Marshall, MN.
