Montevideo Community Band

The Montevideo Area Community Band brings together musicians of all ages and experience levels to share the joy of making music. Whether you're a current musician, a former band member dusting off your instrument after many years, or someone looking for a fun and rewarding musical outlet, you'll find a welcoming place here.

The band performs a variety of music throughout the year. Membership is open to adults and high school students with previous band experience. There are no auditions—just a love of music and a desire to play! Whether you perform regularly or haven't picked up your instrument in decades, you are encouraged to join us!

Fall rehearsals begin Monday, September 21, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Montevideo Middle School Band Room. New and returning members are encouraged to join us for the first rehearsal. Fee: $20.00
